How do I report a disruptive student?
In cases where the disruptive behavior is minimally disruptive, the Dean of Students Office suggests that the staff or faculty member talk to the student immediately upon observing the disruptive behavior. The discussion should include behavioral expectations and future consequences should the behavior persist. The student and the Dean of Students Office should receive a written summary of that meeting.
In cases where the student’s behavior is so disruptive that an immediate referral to the Dean of Students Office is appropriate, the staff or faculty member should immediately contact the Dean of Students Office and submit a written complaint summarizing the incident.
