From national presentations and publications, to awards and honors received, the members of the Dean of Students Office and the Student Life Team participate in forums aimed at sharing successes with others in the Student Affairs community. - Connor Mendenhall received 1st place for editorial writing
- Michael Schwartz received 1st place for sports writing
- Jake Lacey received 2nd place for photography
- Lance Madden received 2nd place for sports column writing
- Nina Conrad received 2nd place for sports writing
- 2nd place photo illustration
- 2nd place best all around daily newspaper

NATIONAL LEADERSHIP
- Cathy Busha, Director of LGBTQ Affairs, has been selected to serve as Peer Reviewer in Washington D.C. this month for the 2008 Rural Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking Assistance Program for the Department of Justice’s Office on Violence against Women.
Cathy is also a member the Pima Community College’s Social Services Education Community Advisory Council
